Overview

Pep & Pizzazz is a thriving recreation center for families in Somerset, KY, dedicated to providing exceptional instruction and unforgettable experiences. Our programs include dance, gymnastics, and ninja, along with community playtimes and birthday parties that bring families together. The studio is a place where children shine and families feel part of the PepFam.

We’re looking for a dependable, positive, and energetic Saturday Studio Host to manage weekend operations — opening and closing the studio, welcoming guests, hosting birthday parties, and assisting with community playtime events.

Location: Somerset, KY

As the Saturday Studio Host, you will serve as the friendly, organized, and safety-minded presence that ensures everything runs smoothly during weekend events. Your leadership and communication will help create memorable, high-quality experiences for families.

Success in this role is measured by exceptional guest satisfaction, smooth event operations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role will include (but are not limited to):

• Opening and closing the studio according to Pep & Pizzazz procedures.
   

• Greeting guests warmly and ensuring all families feel welcome and informed.
   

• Hosting birthday parties and playtime sessions with enthusiasm and professionalism.
   

• Coordinating event timelines, activities, and cleanup.
   

• Managing setup, supplies, and transitions between events.
   

• Communicating effectively with staff, parents, and vendors.
   

• Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and readiness of all party and play spaces.
   

• Handling basic customer service and problem-solving with a positive attitude.

 

Requirements

To excel in this role, we are seeking individuals who align with our studio’s values and possess the following qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
   

• Friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with children and families.
   

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
   

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
   

• Comfortable leading small groups and maintaining structure in a fun environment.
   

• Prior experience in childcare, customer service, or event hosting preferred (but not required).
   

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
   

• Available to work Saturdays consistently.
