DANCE INSTRUCTOR

Grace Diggins

Hello! I'm Ms. Grace, and I teach Dance at Pep & Pizzazz!

Pep & Pizzazz has been part of my life since I was a little girl, and I truly can't imagine growing up anywhere else. Over the years, Pep has become so much more than a dance studio—it's become family and a place where I have always felt safe, supported, and at home.

Dance played a special role in helping me grow from a shy, sometimes awkward little girl into someone who feels confident being herself. Because I remember what it was like to feel reserved or unsure, I have a special heart for the children who may take a little longer to join in. I love noticing the student standing quietly at the edge of the room, welcoming them with a smile, and helping them know they have a place in our classroom.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is creating an environment where every child feels loved and welcome from the moment they walk through the door. I enjoy celebrating each student's progress, encouraging them through challenges, and helping them discover the joy that comes from learning, growing, and expressing themselves through dance.

If you know me, you know I almost always have a smile on my face! I believe the little moments—a warm greeting, remembering something a student shared, offering an encouraging word, or celebrating a new accomplishment—can make a lasting difference in a child's life.

Outside of Pep, I work hard in school and enjoy challenging myself through several AP courses. I'm involved in National Honor Society, Beta Club, DECA, and Future Business Leaders of America, and I also have experience working in bookkeeping. Staying busy has taught me responsibility, organization, leadership, and the importance of giving my best in everything I do.

I also enjoy babysitting and pet sitting, spending time with children and animals, and being involved in my church youth group. In my free time, I love clothes and fashion, visiting New York City, and seeing Broadway shows—especially when dance and storytelling come together onstage.

As someone who grew up at Pep, I know firsthand that this is about so much more than dance. It's about building confidence, creating lifelong friendships, discovering who you are, and becoming part of a community that truly cares.
