OWNER/CEO
BRITANI SHOEMAKER
Hello! I'm Ms. Britani, founder and owner of Pep & Pizzazz!
What began as a dream has become one of God's greatest blessings in my life. Every day, I have the incredible privilege of investing in students and families through movement, encouragement, and community.
My own journey began at the age of three as a dancer at The Dance Company. From there, I spent years dancing, cheering, competing, teaching, and coaching. I cheered for four years at Southwestern High School before continuing my dance education at the University of Kentucky as a member of the UK Dance Team and through UK's Dance Minor Program. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in 2008 and later served as Head Coach of the Southwestern High School Cheerleaders, where our teams earned two National Championship titles and a State Championship.
While I'm grateful for those experiences, my greatest passion isn't found in the awards or titles—it's found in watching students discover who they are and what they're capable of.
At Pep & Pizzazz, we believe movement is about so much more than learning dance steps, gymnastics skills, or Ninja obstacles. Every class is an opportunity to build confidence, character, resilience, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our mission is simple: every student deserves to feel Seen. Heard. Known. Celebrated.
Every stage of the journey matters to us—from a toddler's very first class to a child celebrating a new skill, a teenager developing into a leader, or an adult rediscovering the joy of movement. Our commitment is to create a place where every person feels valued, encouraged, and empowered to grow.
It is an honor to lead this incredible community, and I can't wait to welcome your family to Pep & Pizzazz!
